Memorial Funds

Any family choosing to direct memorial funds to Circle of Life Hospice will honor their loved one in the following ways:

Memorial Plaque
A permanent imprinted plate with the name and date of death is attached to this beautiful plaque prominently displayed in the Circle of Life offices.

Memorial Garden
A 3x5 inch garden stake is engraved with patient name and date of death. The stake is placed in our memorial garden in front of the office for 1 year. At the end of the 1 year, this plate is mailed to the family for a keepsake.

"The Circle of Life Memorial Garden was created by Mary McCall in honor of her mother Dorothy Holloway. This engraved plate is a permanent memorial in our garden in remembrance of Dorothy."

Gift to Others
Your generous donations will honor your loved one by making it possible for everyone to receive quality “end of life” care, regardless of their ability to pay for services.

Volunteers

Aside from monetary or other contributions your time as a hospice volunteer is equally important. Volunteers can choose from a variety of options to meet your comfort level and skills. Every volunteer will receive 14 hrs of training through Circle of Life to equip them for service. Volunteers are a vital part to our hospice program. Please contact us to find out how you can become a Hospice volunteer.

Volunteer opportunities may include:

  1. Direct patient care – assisting with personal cares & grooming or simply being a patient companion.
  2. Indirect patient care – running errands, grocery shopping for the patient and family, providing respite time so that the family or caregiver can go out of the home for a short time, cooking meals, helping with small household chores or making phone calls to provide a friendly, caring voice.
  3. Bereavement Support – This may consist of follow up visits or phone calls to the grieving family. Volunteers may assist the bereavement coordinator with scheduling activities and providing support for other volunteers.
  4. Fundraising – Volunteers may assist the Volunteer Coordinator in planning and executing fundraisers for Circle of Life.
